I just need customers to see my catalog?

Yes. We can provide a solution that will allow customers to view your catalog and suppliers. Customers can view more details about your products, view product videos and download specification sheets/brochures. If you do not wish to have customers purchase items via your online store, we can include a 'Request A Quote' feature instead.

Should I rent or own my online store?

Your website should be a business asset and the cost of your website should be a capital expense. Once you develop your website you should own it for the life of your business. The code and digital architecture becomes the asset of your business as opposed to other solutions such a Shopify where you are simply using a 3rd party template and code, that you pay to use on a monthly/yearly basis, as the engine for your business.

We currently integrate our e-commerce stores with ALL of the local banks. This includes Scotia Bank, Republic Bank, First Citizens Bank and Royal Bank. We also integrate with WiPay and PayPal. All of the banks in the Caribbean use credit card payment services from a company in The Bahamas called First Atlantic Commerce (FAC).

If you already have a system to manage your inventory we can try to integrate that system with your online spore via connector.

Can I accept credit card payments online?

Yes. Once your company has a business bank account with a local bank, you can apply for an ONLINE MERCHANT ACCOUNT from your bank. We can then integrate that MERCHANT ACCOUNT into your website so that you can accept credit card payments from your customers. Customers can purchase your products/services, make loan payments, make insurance payments and more.

how can i ensure secure online payments?

We have made every effort to ensure that our solution is safe and secure. All of our payment integrations are verified as secure by the bank that you received your merchant account from as well as from the terminating gateway - First Atlantic Commerce. One other thing to note is that we do NOT STORE ANY CUSTOMER CREDIT CARD INFORMATION in your website. Our hosting provider - InterServer has also put in place both hardware and software solutions to keep your website safe and secure.

disadvantages of a shopify store?

A basic account on Shopify’s platform starts at USD$29 per month. There are additional fees for every transaction using online credit cards. Currently there is no Shopify Plugin that will allow you to accept credit card payments here in the Caribbean and receive those payments in your local bank account.
